Morning Crafty People
Today I have a card for you that I have created using various different techniques.
I am not 100% on the flower but it is my first attempt of making this type of flower it turned out a bit bigger then I realised and by the time I had noticed it was stuck fast to the card.
Hay Ho that's what crafting is all about tho isn't it? trying new things things and seeing how to make them better next time.
I treated myself to a couple of new things this week mainly using up some of my Christmas pennies that I had left over.
I treated myself to a set of the Grand Nestabilities Label 1 - The card with these used on will be up next week. Then I popped to my local craft shop to to see what he had new in (he is always tempting me with new things) any way in I go not really wanting anything and then I come out with a set of A2 Curved Labels One Borders by spellbinders and Oh my goodness I LOVE them, they make such a beautiful design to the the card.
I love this card colouring the dark green with the pastel purples and blue really make me feel like it is a spring card perfect for a spring anniversary, and the bit of glitter I put in the center of the flowers gives it a fab shimmer to the card.
Anyway enough of me rambling on here is the card.
Some of you may have seen it on my twitter account as I put a sneaky peak on there earlier in the week.
To make the flower I used my circut machine and the cartridge Flower Shoppe.
The petals I used was Daisy 3 and the base of the flower was Daisy 2 I cut the petals out in three different sizes I cut 8 of each in sizes 1 3/4 inch, 1 1/2 inch and 1 inch. The Daisy 2 was cut at 2 inch. The Leaves used are from the same cartridge and I cut 2x Fun 5 at 1 3/4 inch coloured in forest green. and 2 x fun 5 at 1 1/2 inch colured with leaf green.
